2.5 Available Connections

Input/Output connectors:

SLR+SLR–:

The Envoy has a built-in charging regulator for charging a 12 V lead-acid battery from an external power source.

Charging power can come from a 16–22 V DC input such as a solar panel.

PWR+ PWR–:

The Envoy is powered by a nominal 12 V DC source. Acceptable power range is 7 to 16 V DC.

C1 C2:

Digital I/O – conﬁgurable for SDI-12 communication, state, frequency, and pulses.

PLLEX PSW:

Conﬁgurable for counts or frequency of the following signal types:

• High-level square waves (PSW)

• Switch closures (PSW)

• Low-level A/C sine waves (PLLEX).

Ground

SW12:

Switched 12 volts (SW12 V): (switch on/off) primary voltage under program control for control of external devices

requiring 12 V DC, such as humidity sensors. SW12 V can source up to 900 mA.

AG:

Analogue ground

SE1 SE2:

Analogue channels conﬁgurable for input/output.
